Maggie Valley Club

Maggie Valley Club has undergone a dramatic transformation. What was an outdated resort is now the newest master-planned golf and residential community in the North Carolina mountains. More than $2 million has been spent to upgrade the golf course and bring it to modern standards, while several upscale amenities have been added.

The new Maggie Valley Club unveils a $6 million clubhouse redesign this spring, along with a new swimming pool, fine and casual dining, fitness center, tennis courts, state-of-the-art golf practice facility, hiking trails and an outdoor fire pit for family gatherings under the stars.

Real estate offerings include some of the choicest homesites in the Great Smokies, with panoramic views of the mountains and golf course. In addition to estate lots, Maggie Valley Club offers a pair of luxury condominium communities and the newly-released Cottages at Chestnut Cove. Expected to sell out quickly, The Cottages provide maintenance-free living in elegant three-bedroom cottage homes featuring all the upgrades.

Avid golfers will enjoy the renovated course at Maggie Valley Club. A multi-year project has rejuvenated the par-72 championship layout, resulting in excellent playing conditions. A new fairway irrigation system is in place, extensive drainage work has been performed, new tee boxes have been built, a dozen new bunkers were added, while all existing bunkers were renovated.

Course landscaping and signage were addressed as well. Future improvements will lengthen the course and replace the cart path system.

"I've been here eight years and the course is in the best condition Iíve seen it," said head golf professional Mike Fox. "I especially like what weíve done in the last two years with new tee boxes and the stonework on the No. 1 tee, which ties in with the new clubhouse."
