A truly unique gem of North Carolina, Sea Trail Golf Resort & Convention Center holds the distinction of being the only resort of its kind in coastal North Carolina. Sea Trail is home to three magnificent courses designed by Rees Jones, Willard Byrd and Dan Maples. The Jones course was also host to one of last year’s U.S. Open Qualifier Rounds for the 2006 U.S. Open. Golfweek magazine awarded Sea Trail with a 2005 slot in its “Best Courses You Can Play” as well as 2004 and 2005 honors of “Best Residential Course of Distinction.” Golf Digest magazine also hailed Sea Trail as one of the “50 Best Courses in Myrtle Beach” for 2005. On-site homeowners and visitors alike enjoy challenging play of these courses, nestled under pine tree canopies alongside various coastal wildlife of nesting osprey hawks, alligators and fox squirrels.
